The South Alabama Rural Training (SART) program, funded by HRSA and the Delta Region Authority, aims to address the ongoing needs in healthcare facilities for trained administrative support professionals and clinical professionals in rural communities of the Alabama Delta Region.

It provides training and pathways to professional certifications and degrees to applicants in Barbour, Bullock, Lowndes, Macon, and Russell Counties. Scholarships will be offered to cover full tuition, fees, books, etc.
