For six years, the Southeast Alabama AHEC (SEAAHEC) staff have worked alongside the staff of the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) to plan and execute their annual Veterans Mental Health Summit.

As a community partner, SEAAHEC staff serve on the planning committee with other community partners to execute a program dedicated to the overall well-being of our Veterans.

This year's theme: “Building Bridges: Linking Mental Health & Whole Health,” addresses a holistic approach to health care and provides a full slate of noteworthy speakers for a target audience of physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, counselors, and social workers. CE and CME units are available for those participating in the full event from 8am-4:30pm on the Dothan campus of Troy University on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Registration is open for non-VA participants @ https://www.tms.va.gov/SecureAuth35/ and for

VA staff @ TMS using course # 4518488. For more information: Deidra.Munnerlyn@va.gov or pcheatwood@ seaahec.org in support of our Veterans.
